PRIVACY NOTICE FOR ACCOUNTS, PAYROLL AND TAX

 

 

 

Fraser Accounts is part of Fraser Price Consulting Ltd. This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information you provide for our accounting and payroll services.

 

What information do we collect about you?

 

We collect information about you when you employ our accounting or payroll services. We only request information essential for providing you with these services and none above and beyond this. Our lawful basis for the personal data we hold is Contract.

 

Do we share your information with third parties?

 

In order to provide payroll and bookkeeping services we share some of your information with HMRC via HMRC approved software. For payroll this is so that HMRC are able to recognise who you are and for PAYE and tax purposes. For bookkeeping the information provided to HMRC is what is provided in your tax returns. If you have authorised us as your HMRC self assessment agent we can call them on your behalf with any queries you have regarding your tax return information. If you have an auto enrolment pension we also provide the necessary details to Now Pensions. If you are a Limited company we will also share your information with Companies House in order to file your accounts and annual confirmation statement. Unless expressly requested and authorised by you we do not share your information with anyone else.

 

How can I access my data?

 

You can request access or collect your data at any time. You can also update any of your information at any time. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information please contact us on the information at the bottom of the page.

 

How long is your data held for?

 

HMRC requires your data to be held for a minimum of 6 years so we will hold your data until this point if you leave us as a client, otherwise we will continue to hold the data until you request us to delete it.

 

How is your data protected?

 

We protect your electronic data with multiple anti-virus and anti-spyware software, operating system updates on a timely basis and with daily external hard drive backups. Physical data is protected in our office by locks and an alarm.

 

Marketing

 

We would like to send you information about our services and/or offers on our services that we think may be of interest to you. If you would prefer not to be contacted about these you can request to opt out. This request will be logged against your customer details on our records.
